Fall Registration

Academy Band

Registration is now open for the fall FCYBA Academy Band. Advanced high school and collegiate students are encouraged to audition for the premiere ensemble of the Fountain City Youth Brass Academy. The band rehearses each Sunday from 1-3 PM at St. James Academy, beginning September 24, and will compete at the US Masters on November 11 at the Blue Valley North High School.

Musicians who are not selected to the fall Academy Band will be given the option of a full refund or applying their season fee to the spring session.

Please provide a link to a video of your audition. A private YouTube post is preferred. If you choose to use GoogleDrive, please make sure that permissions are set to anyone that has link. Record up to five minutes of material that best demonstrates your lyrical and techincal performing abilities. Brass players, please include a chromatic scale to demonstrate range. Percussionists, when possbile, please include at least one excerpt from a mallet instrument and one non-mallet instrument.
